Who should attend
Designed for mission-driven parents, educators, mentors, and leaders who understand that digital safety goes beyond app controls and technical rules.
Why this session matters
Cybersecurity is fundamentally emotional, behavioural, and deeply human.
According to a recent Thorn report:
• 1 in 6 sextortion victims were under the age of 12
• 1 in 7 victims were driven to self-harm
• 2 in 3 children chat with strangers online
This session translates these realities into actionable strategies by blending cyber defence, behavioural training, and neuroscience, reframing digital safety as a core family and leadership value.
What Participants Will Learn
Participants will leave with actionable frameworks and tools, including:
✓ A new lens for understanding digital risks in family life
✓ Insight into manipulation, grooming, and algorithmic influence patterns
✓ Neuroscience-backed practices for healthier technology habits
✓ Practical guidance tools for mentoring — not just monitoring — children’s digital activity
✓ A structured approach to building household cyber resilience plans
✓ Decision-making models to recognize threats early and respond confidently
✓ Conversation starters and checklists parents can use immediately
